How to have a clean bathroom.

We all want to have a beautiful bathroom... But the question is, how do we get it?

We all want to have a beautiful bathroom.

Bathrooms are one of the most frequently used areas of our homes, and no matter how hard we try, they often get dirty pretty quickly. Toilets, basins, bathtubs, showers, vanities and more are used almost everyday by an entire household, which is why regular cleaning is a must. Here at Wet & Forget, we have a few tips and tricks that we have picked up to make cleaning your bathroom easy.

Shower ScreenShower Screens
Shower screens are one of those areas in the bathroom that can be such a pain to clean. A build-up of soap scum, body oils and body products over time can make for cloudy, hard-to-see-through glass which is difficult to clean without a lot of time and lots of scrubbing. We recommend using a product specifically designed to target soap scum when cleaning your shower screen.

Bath Tub
Bathtubs
Bathtubs are another item on the list of bathroom cleaning chores that can also take a lot of work. Dirt often gets mixed in with soap scum and body oils to leave a yellow/brownish residue in rings around the tub. Using an effective, bleach-free product is best to remove this build-up without leaving a harsh bleach and chemical residue.

Shower Head
Shower Head (and other hardware)
Most bathroom hardware like shower heads and taps are designed to be shiny. But unfortunately when they're covered in soap scum and product residue they can get a bit dull and splotchy looking. Finding a product that can easily remove this build-up in one go without damaging the hardware finishings would be the best option for getting the shine back on your hardware.

Toilet
Toilets
Toilets, toilets, toilets. Frequently used and unfortunately not always frequently cleaned. Popping a bit of toilet cleaner around the bowl is good, but making sure to give the lid, seat, and exterior of the bowl a good wipe-down is the next best step to a clean toilet. Finding a product with no harsh chemicals and a refreshing scent is a great option for cleaning the extra bits of your toilet.

Sinks, Vanities and Basins
Sinks, Basins and Vanities
Sinks often see a build-up of extra hand soap, toothpaste, hair strands and other residues. While most of the time the visible stuff gets washed down the drain, there is often still stuff stuck to the ends, especially higher up the sides or in the corners (depending on the bowl shape). Using a cleaner that can lift this build-up off in one or two wipes would be best for cleaning sinks.
