Our top 6 Spring Cleaning Jobs

Our top 6 Spring Cleaning Jobs

The Cherry trees are flowering and the veggie seedlings are starting to thrive, that’s the beauty of Spring! Winter this year was so wet and all that rain has certainly left a bit of a mess around, so we have listed our top 6 jobs to help get your home back in order and ready for the new season.

 1. Outside Areas
Now the weather is starting to warm up it’s time to do a rekkie outside! Rake up all old leaves and sweep your entertaining areas. Fertilise your garden for spectacular spring growth and most important of all, remove any moss and mould left over from the winter rain. Green paths can be slippery and black mould looks dank and dirty, so remove it all with Wet & Forget! It can be used as a preventative as well and can also be applied to any exterior surface.

 2. Exterior Windows
It’s the perfect time to clean your exterior glass before the weather gets too hot. Just spray the Window Witch onto your windows and give the dirt & grime a quick agitate using a microfibre window pad or a soft brush. Then turn the nozzle on the bottle to the water setting, thoroughly rinse from above the window to wash off all the suds and that’s about it. No Squeegeeing needed! (Just a little tip, don’t let the Window Witch dry on the glass and make sure all suds are washed off to leave a streak-free finish)

 3. Indoor Sanitising
Wipe away your winter blues with Wet & Forget Indoor! Suitable for application to any washable hard surface. To sanitise and remove mildew just spray on and leave for 10 minutes, then wipe it off. Or you can also spray onto a microfibre cloth and wipe over the surface eliminating the need to wipe it off after 10 minutes. This works well for timber furniture, leather shoes & handbags, painted walls and shirting boards, just to name a few!

 4. Clean the Bathroom
This is an easy one! Shower Witch pretty much does it all. When using the Shower Witch apply it when the surface still wet, leave for around 12 hours, then wash off all the soap scum and grime. To use Shower Witch on other surfaces such as your bath, toilet, stainless steel sink, or bathroom basin, just spray a little on, then wipe it off. That’s the magic of Shower Witch!

 5. Renew your Roof
Cleaning your roof can give it new life and doing so should be easy. The first step is to identify the type of growth on it so you can make sure to treat it the right way. Lichen and black mould are the 2 most common types you can find on a roof and for both, Rapid Application is easiest to use. Simply connect it to your garden hose and you’re ready to do the job. The nozzle reaches up to 8 meters on the jet setting so you can even clean it from the ground. No mixing, no measuring, no mess! Check our blog Easy checklist for cleaning your roofto learn more.

 6. Deter Spiders
Finally, now that the rest is done it’s time to deter those spiders from making a home in or on your home! Spray Miss Muffet's Revenge spider control around the perimeter of your home to stop them from making their webs around your property. For longer lasting protection, spray under eaves, around window frames, under your house and any little cracks and crevices where they like to hide! You don’t need to kill them, just keep them where they should be.

Regardless of the size of your property or where you live, you’re always looking for easy cleaning solutions, so hopefully we have helped you find a few!

Testimonial from Shirley H
Love this product (Wet & Forget pink), it really works!  As a lady in her 70's I have not had to Karcher my cement for over 5 years. Our backyard cement was black during winter but not anymore. I also use your Window Witch as climbing ladders are a no no nowadays and love this also. In the past 3 weeks I have started using your Shower Witch also and once again you have saved me back breaking work, so easy to use and works a treat. Thank you Wet & Forget Australia, Shirley H
